Authentic Haitian Vodou

What happens to us after we die. People think because I serve the lwa or practice Vodou that something bad will happen to me when I die. This is NOT true (I will go into this deeper with my people before they initiate.) I was thinking of this and began to pose many questions to my god father. It all started with a simple request on my Facebook fan page. Someone wanted me to post photos of my pot tet. Well, I could not, as my pot sits in Haiti. When someone initiates into Haitian Vodou your pot tet should stay with your priest or houngan at the temple. It contains a big lock of hair, and fingernails from me. The priest are responsible for you in so many ways, even after you die. Your pot tet is taken to the sea and broken. A year and a day later they are responsible to reclaim you.
