Haiti Is Still Sweet!

Posted by Madam Mambo on February 4, 2013 at 7:35 AM Comments comments (0)

Every time I go to Haiti people ( Haitian and non Haitian) always warn me about the kidnappings and murders in Haiti. I do take offence more when the warning comes from non Haitian people who only know what they know about Haiti from the media in the USA. I ask them "Have you looked at the news here in America lately?" 6 and 7 year old children killed in school. Children kidnapped off the school bus and murder all over. The powers that be will agree to anything to win office. Haiti does not care if the rest of the world approves of same sex marriage, I bet you a dollar the government will never make that legal in Haiti. Abortion is not even legal in Haiti. Haiti will not confuse Her children and teach them wrong is right. People who are not Haitian who talk about Haiti act like they and their country is perfect. I am not saying that they are wrong in their warnings, but they just do not know Haiti. Haiti is SWEET!

Stop The Propaganda! Haitian Clairin is NOT dangerous!

Posted by Madam Mambo on January 8, 2013 at 10:40 AM Comments comments (0)

Haitian kleren (clairin) is NOT a dangerous drank! Anyone who has made homemade rum knows that METHANOL is a by-product of distilling rum. After you ferment your rum and you are ready to distill it about week later. The first liquid to roll out is NOT rum, but methanol. You toss this out. After your rum has reached at least 176 degrees then what rolls out is rum. Anyone who has made rum at home or in Haiti knows this. Anyone who has not needs to stop being so nosey and sending me links to stuff you know nothing about. You have never even been to Haiti. Clairin is safe. This is PROPAGANDA ! You need to buy rum from someone who you trust. I do not eat or drank from people do not know in Haiti. Do not buy any food or drank that may not have been cook correctly. With the right hygiene and tools. That goes double for rum. You can not train on me. You need to have been making rum for years before will buy from you. You can not stop people from making rum in Haiti, it is a way of life that has been for hundreds of years. Now, trust this; if you want to see people take to the streets in Haiti, mess with the RHUM. ( This is why I no longer deal with outsider , because they see Haiti, but they do not know Her. Outsiders make me talk too much. Haitian people know kleren is the best!)

Real Vodou Communities Are Not Online

Posted by Madam Mambo on September 29, 2012 at 4:15 AM Comments comments (0)

Dyllan was in an online Vodou group on Facebook. When he got a private message from white "houngan" Liam. He asked Dyllan if he was my godson. He told him I bad mouthed Dyllan in a blog. The post was and still is public here on the Fan Page wall. I say what I mean, and mean what I say. So I did not remove anything. I is right here for everyone to read. LaBessa BITCHES are MESSY! Liam told Dyllan "Odette has a bad name in the community..." My god son told him it is MAMBO Odette (I know that's right!). Liam is part of a online Vodou "community" that is a joke. REAL Vodou community's are NOT online. I am part of a Haitian community and want nothing to do with those white online so called houngans and mambos. Has he been to the Delaware Haitian community? No! My people love me! I do not live online. That is SAD as hell. I am part of a real house in Haiti, that my father came out of. I have the REAL ason. And most of all I am HAITIAN. He wanted the ason and somebody sold him one, LMAO. He is part of an online business. Not Vodou community. When will they see they are part of a online BUSINESS not a Vodou community. Going to Haiti does not make you Haitian it is in your blood. If your white mother had no lwa, and your white grand mother had no lwa, and no one in your family had no lwa, where did you get yours? NOT LaBessa, lol. The lwa are handed down in families. From mother or father to child and so on. I know who I am and I do not have to TRY to buy it, lol. If you like me or not you have heard of Mambo Odette. Peace and love.

The Power Of Rain Water In Haitian Vodou

Posted by Madam Mambo on September 22, 2012 at 5:30 PM Comments comments (0)

I hope you all saved the rain water from hurricane Isaac. Rain water from a lightening storm or hurricane is powerful when you do the ritual I just posted in my website. Also wash your mushwa in rain water from the lightening storm if it is for Houngan Chango or Ogou. Wash your mushwa in ocean water if it is for the water spirits. Peace, love, and happiness.

New Page For Members "Vodou Prayers"

Posted by Madam Mambo on September 19, 2012 at 10:00 AM Comments comments (0)

I have a new password protected page just for us members. It is call "Vodou Prayers". I started it off, but please help me out. I need a prayer from each one of the members. I will post it to our page so we can share and learn from each other.

My people in Haitian Vodou, you can not serve alone. Well you can later, but you must first get you teachings from someone. Your mama or papa kanzo, your father, grand ma , so on. Then after you kanzo and have gone to that spiritual level that you can only reach here on earth through kanzo, go can go it alone. But why? I love my members. My members are serving the lwa. I need to do my job as I see you are doing yours. About 80% of the rituals I do for myself are to feed my spirits. I want to show you how to keep your lwa strong so they work hard for you. Ayibobo! Peace and love.

Trash In Haitian Vodou.

Posted by Madam Mambo on September 15, 2012 at 6:00 PM Comments comments (0)

Once stop being afraid to die, then you can live. In Haitian Vodou there is no death. There is a passing on from one world to the next, but no one dies. I am not afraid to so call die. I truly feel only the ones who have been through kanzo can understand that. You will never go to that spiritual level here on earth, other then through kanzo. People who do not have the means or blood to kanzo will tell you it is unnecessary. Stay on your level, earthly. But for the ones who have had a REAL kanzo, you know just like Jesus. Jesus who had not assented to the Father after death. He was in hell for 3 days before he rose from the dead. My 3 days, when no light could touch my skin was like a death. Ooo but I was reborn! Really reborn , to a higher level that you only go to during kanzo. I have passed through the fire, literally. Vodou is not for everyone , and I refuse to teach trash about something the can never practice. My ancestors have a contact with the lwa that trash has no business trying to be apart of. Trash can never go to the level of kanzo , no matter what you pay. My god father let his daughter know. He let me know, in Haiti there are two assons "the real, asson and the fake asson". He gave me the real one. Ayibobo!!!

No One Be Like You

Okay, so the title is not proper American English. The title is a song I love by P Square. I now think of my website when I hear this song. There is no other website like mine on the whole world wide web. Thank you so much everyone. Thank you for your support, you kind emails, your text, phone calls , and donations. This not only keeps me strong, but has made my website so STRONG. Ayibobo!
